Our story
More than a blanket.
A warm memory.
LakeBlankets grew from a life measured in lake seasons: family trips, borrowed cabins, early fishing mornings, long boat rides, and the quiet hour when everyone drifts back to the dock.
A life lived from lake to lake
For much of my life, home was never just one place. It was the next family lake, the next trail through the woods, the next shoreline where the car was finally unpacked and everyone could exhale. I learned to love the rituals around the water: coffee before the first cast, bare feet on sun-warmed boards, the hum of a boat heading home, and dinner that ran late because nobody wanted to leave the sunset.
Now I live at the lake full time. I still hike, fish, and get out on the boat whenever I can, but my favorite place is simpler: sitting on the dock with the people I love, watching the light move across the water. Those are the moments that stay warm long after the season changes.
Every design holds a chapter
The LakeBlankets collections reflect different chapters of that life. Minimalist designs remember the quiet lakes where the shoreline itself was enough. Navigation-inspired pieces carry the feeling of finding your way back. Vintage designs recall roadside vacations, old cabins, and postcards saved in a drawer. Woven styles feel like the heirlooms that moved from one family house to the next. Our scenic designs hold the atmosphere of a particular day—the weather, the water, and the way a place felt when everyone was together.
Each lake is different because every lake memory is different. The common thread is belonging: the feeling that this stretch of water knows your story.
Made for the memories still ahead
A LakeBlanket is meant to live where memories are made—over the back of a chair, across the guest-room bed, around your shoulders by the fire, or packed for one more evening on the dock. It is a gift for the people who taught you the lake, the family returning next summer, and the new traditions that are just beginning.
